In the solemn atmosphere of the nation commemorating the 135th anniversary of the birth of the great President Ho Chi Minh, on May 19, 2025, the Faculty of Information Technology at Van Hien University organized a field trip to the Dragon House Wharf Museum – the historic site where President Ho Chi Minh departed Vietnam in 1911 to seek a path for national salvation.

This trip was more than an extracurricular activity; it was a meaningful journey that deepened VHU IT students’ understanding of the nation’s history and the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh. At the museum, students had the chance to view precious historical artifacts and hear moving stories about Uncle Ho’s revolutionary life. Through this experience, they developed greater respect and pride for a humble leader who devoted himself entirely to the people and the nation.

This “return to the roots” activity significantly contributed to fostering noble ideals among students, igniting their patriotism, sense of civic responsibility, resilience, and aspiration to contribute to society. The authentic historical lessons at the Dragon House Wharf served as a powerful motivation for students to continue their studies, personal growth, and efforts to contribute to the nation’s development.

The flame of Uncle Ho’s teachings – “Study and follow the ideology, morality, and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh” – continues to burn brightly in the hearts of VHU IT youth. This ideal guides each student to strive for excellence in knowledge, character, and patriotism.

The Faculty of Information Technology at Van Hien University is dedicated to creating a holistic learning environment that emphasizes not only professional expertise but also moral education, skills, and ideals for students. Trips like this connect the past, present, and future, inspiring today’s youth to deepen their understanding, love, and commitment to continuing the path forged by previous generations.
