In response to Youth Month 2025 with the theme "Live Responsibly – Act for the Community," the Faculty of Information Technology at Van Hien University has organized a series of meaningful activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of enthusiasm, volunteerism, and the responsibility of youth towards the community.
On March 14, students from the Faculty of Information Technology, in collaboration with the Faculty of Accounting – Finance and the People's Committee of Phu Trung Ward, organized a tour of the Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien Metro line, combined with a visit and incense offering at the City Martyrs Cemetery. This activity not only provided a hands-on experience of the modern public transportation system, contributing to environmental awareness, but also helped educate on the tradition of remembering the source of water and expressing gratitude to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for national independence.
Continuing the series of activities, on March 15, the Faculty of Information Technology continued its collaboration with the People's Committee of Phu Trung Ward to implement a free health check-up program and distribute gifts to elderly households in the area. This practical activity reflects the spirit of sharing and social responsibility of students, while also providing an opportunity for young people to learn, experience, and bond with the local community.
Not stopping there, in the near future, the Faculty of Information Technology will continue to implement various rich activities such as: a blood donation festival, an inspirational talk on volunteerism, the "Students for a Green Environment" program, and life skills and soft skills training for union members and students.
Through the Youth Month activities, students not only nurture their civic awareness but also have the opportunity to develop comprehensively in knowledge, ethics, and lifestyle. The Faculty of Information Technology at Van Hien University affirms its role in accompanying students on their journey to becoming young individuals with ideals, responsibilities, and a willingness to contribute to the community and society.
