With the aim of continuously improving teaching quality and fostering a spirit of learning and professional exchange among lecturers, the Faculty of Information Technology – Van Hien University has effectively collaborated with the Teaching Support Center to organize classroom observation activities for the second semester of the academic year 2024–2025.

This professional activity was carried out as scheduled, ensuring effectiveness and academic quality. In this round, the Faculty organized a total of seven observed lectures, involving both full-time and visiting lecturers. The observation and professional evaluation were conducted by MSc. Nguyen Thi Dieu Anh – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Nguyen Quang Tan – Head of the Information Technology Department, MSc. Dang Van Luc – Head of the Computer Science Department, along with other faculty members and representatives from the Teaching Support Center, Academic Affairs Office, and the Testing & Quality Assurance Center.

The observation results recorded many positive outcomes, reflecting the lecturers’ dedication and serious preparation. All observed lectures (100%) were rated as Good or higher, demonstrating the professional teaching attitude and well-prepared lesson delivery. Notably, 57.1% of the lectures (4 out of 7) received an Excellent rating, highlighting clear communication, effective teaching methods, and strong interaction with students. Moreover, all lessons met standard content requirements, effectively applied modern teaching technologies, and enhanced visual engagement—stimulating learners' creativity and active thinking.

Classroom observation is not merely a form of assessment, but also a valuable opportunity for mutual learning, sharing teaching experiences, and promoting pedagogical innovation. It is one of the key strategies contributing to the improvement of training quality, aiming to build a modern and professional educational environment centered around learners.

In the coming time, the Faculty of Information Technology will continue to maintain and promote classroom observation as an essential part of building a high-quality teaching staff, capable of meeting the increasing demands of society and the internationalization of higher education.
