Ho Chi Minh City – On the joyful evening of October 5, students from the Faculty of Information Technology – Van Hien University (VHU) brought smiles and happiness to children in Quarter 16, Tan Phu Ward through the charity event “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2025.” The night was filled with colorful lights, laughter, and the warmth of love and community spirit.

With a desire to give local children a meaningful Mid-Autumn celebration, the students spent days preparing for the event – from planning ideas, decorating the venue, and organizing games to seeking sponsors and preparing over 100 gift sets including sweets and lanterns. Each gift was not only a token of affection but also a heartfelt wish for a joyful and memorable festival night.

The event became even more exciting with a variety of activities such as lion dance performances, folk games, musical shows, and the traditional mooncake party. The bright smiles and sparkling eyes of the children truly reflected the success and heartfelt spirit of the program.

More than just a charity event, “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2025” was also an opportunity for VHU IT students to develop teamwork, event organization skills, and a sense of social responsibility. Through the program, students not only gained valuable experiences but also helped spread kindness and positive values to the community.

Guided by the motto “Learn to develop – Live to contribute,” the Faculty of Information Technology – Van Hien University always encourages students to take part in social activities, nurture creativity, compassion, and volunteerism. The success of “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2025” once again demonstrates the youthful enthusiasm of VHU students – young people who are not only skilled in their field but also have warm hearts and a strong sense of responsibility toward society.
