On December 20, 2024, at Tran Hung Dao Hall, HungHau Campus, the Faculty of Information Technology at Van Hien University, in collaboration with FPT Telecom, successfully organized the workshop “The New Era of AI: ChatGPT – Opportunities and Challenges.” The event attracted the participation of more than 300 students, providing a platform to explore advanced technological insights and career opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).
The workshop featured insightful presentations by Mr. An Minh Hung, an AI expert from FPT Telecom’s Information Systems Applications Department. Mr. Hung delved into the transformative role of ChatGPT across various technological domains, its opportunities and challenges, and the future trajectory of AI development. Additionally, Ms. Le Nguyen Thu Dung, a recruitment specialist at FPT Telecom, shared valuable perspectives on recruitment trends, essential skills, and strategies for building a career in the technology sector.
A highlight of the event was the Q&A session, where students directly engaged with the experts. Questions regarding the practical applications of ChatGPT, industry-specific recruitment requirements, and the critical soft skills for success were thoroughly addressed. This dialogue not only clarified students' understanding of the field but also inspired them to pursue personal and professional growth.
