THE FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZES THE TALK SHOW “EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN TECHNOLOGY ENTERPRISES”

On the morning of June 6, 2023, at room DPH007 – 613 Âu Cơ, the Faculty of Information Technology, in collaboration with CMC Global and Masterise Service, organized the talk show "Effective Communication Skills in Technology Enterprises," attracting a large number of student participants.

TThe event featured speakers Trần Thị Thu Trang, Office Manager at CMC Global Co., Ltd. in Ho Chi Minh City, and Nguyễn Hà Kim Ngân (Vivian), Product Manager at Masterise Service - a leading real estate corporation in Vietnam.
Speaker Thu Trang has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources Management across various industries such as Manufacturing, Commerce, and Services, with over 10 years of practical experience in technology companies.
Speaker Kim Ngân is a graduate of the University of Economics and Law - Ho Chi Minh City, formerly a Math-Computer Science specialized student at Nguyen Du Specialized High School, Buon Ma Thuot City. She holds more than 10 years of experience in Digital Product Management & Business Consulting, having worked with leading companies and brands worldwide and in Vietnam, including Samsung US, FedEx US, POPS TV, Rohto, and Citibank.

During the talk show, Speaker Thu Trang presented the 5 levels of communication in enterprises and also shared insights into teamwork skills and communication channels specific to technology enterprises. Additionally, Speaker Kim Ngân discussed the progression that students will undergo when entering the workforce and the corresponding goals they need to achieve at each stage. Thus, each stage requires different skills for effective communication to contribute to their success in their careers.

With their valuable experience and highly practical case studies, the speakers managed to convey a wealth of useful knowledge and address the concerns and questions of the IT students within a short duration of just over 3 hours. The students were enthusiastic and posed insightful questions, contributing to the success of the program.

The head of the Faculty of Information Technology presented bouquets of appreciation to the speakers who participated in the program.

The activities such as talk shows, workshops, and competitions are regular events organized by the Faculty of Information Technology to provide opportunities for students to engage with businesses and enhance their skills. In June, the Faculty of IT will continue its tradition by organizing an academic competition covering various fields of study offered by the Faculty, aiming for practical activities to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Van Hien University's establishment.
