In the vibrant atmosphere of Youth Month and towards the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026), the Faculty of Information Technology – Van Hien University organized the program “Back to the Roots Journey 2026.” This meaningful journey not only expressed deep gratitude but also ignited pride and a sense of responsibility among students towards their homeland and country.

The journey began at the Martyrs’ Memorial Stele in Binh Hung Commune – a place that preserves heroic memories of the nation. In a solemn atmosphere, each incense stick was lit not only to honor and remember the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence and freedom, but also as a quiet yet powerful reminder of the value of peace today. These moments touched the hearts of all participants, leaving a lasting impression of the Vietnamese tradition of gratitude.

A highlight of the program was the New Team Member Admission Ceremony held right at this historical “red address.” The red scarf is not only a symbol of pride but also marks the beginning of a journey of growth, training, and continuing the proud traditions of previous generations. In such a meaningful setting, the promises of the new members became even more sacred and unforgettable.

Continuing this emotional journey, the Information Technology Club organized a field trip to the Phu Tho Hoa Tunnels – a unique historical site representing the resilience, creativity, and fighting spirit of Vietnamese soldiers and people during wartime. Beyond learning, participants had the chance to directly explore the tunnel system, gaining a deeper understanding of the hardships and sacrifices of past generations. This experience helped them truly appreciate that today’s achievements come from countless silent sacrifices.

Although not long, the journey created meaningful moments to reflect on the past, thereby nurturing national pride and inspiring positive ideals among young people. It was also an opportunity for members to connect, share, and grow together through valuable real-life experiences.

“Back to the Roots Journey 2026” is not just a trip, but an emotional milestone where the past meets the present, and where traditional values are continued through the dynamic and creative spirit of today’s youth. With gratitude and a strong desire to contribute, the youth of the Faculty of Information Technology – VHUers will continue to move forward, spread positive values, and actively contribute to the development of society in the future.
