As part of the 2026 admissions campaign, the Faculty of Information Technology – Van Hien University (VHU) organized a series of career counseling sessions and awarded scholarships worth 120 million VND to students from 20 high schools in Binh Phuoc and Dak Lak provinces. The program not only provided information about academic programs but also encouraged students—especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds—to continue striving in their studies.

During this journey, lecturers from the Faculty of Information Technology visited many high schools in the two provinces to meet and directly advise 12th-grade students. In these sessions, the lecturers shared practical insights into the rapid development of the IT industry in the digital era, particularly in fields that are attracting strong demand for human resources such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), software programming, information security, and data science.

The counseling sessions were lively and interactive, with many students asking practical questions about choosing a major, the learning environment, and job opportunities after graduation. Questions such as “Is studying Information Technology difficult?” and “Do students have opportunities for internships and access to new technologies?” were carefully addressed by the lecturers, helping students better understand the field and make informed decisions about their future.

In addition to admissions counseling, the program also awarded 120 scholarships to students with financial difficulties who have achieved good academic results. These scholarships not only provide financial support but also serve as encouragement, motivating students to continue their educational journey and pursue their dreams of entering university.

The series of counseling activities and scholarship awards in Binh Phuoc and Dak Lak not only helped students gain clearer career orientation but also demonstrated the commitment of the Faculty of Information Technology – Van Hien University to supporting the community, promoting the spirit of learning, and inspiring young people to pursue their passion for technology.

The admissions journey of the Faculty of Information Technology continues with the mission of connecting, sharing, and supporting students as they choose their academic paths, develop knowledge, and prepare for the future in the digital technology era.
